Nursing/Medical Intern

We are looking for an intern to assist with computer medical data entry as we implement a new Electronic Medical Record System. You can also work with the Occupational Health nurse as you assist with health and wellness projects in our manufacturing facilities in the Green Bay area.
And most importantly, you can benefit from a learning experience designed to develop confidence and competence in a medical occupational health setting, all while earning a paycheck.
Responsibilities:
In this role your essential and other responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Data Entry- Assist in entering and scanning demographics and medical data into Electronic Medical Records System.
Patient Care - Assist in safe, direct care to employees, under the supervision of an RN preceptor. Duties may include taking blood pressure, assisting with first aid, and helping employees schedule medical appointments.
Professional Development - Enhance professional growth and development through participation in reconditioning the ergonomics program at Green Bay Packaging. Duties would include evaluating job duties as well as developing and implementing solutions to reduce work-related injury or illness.
Related Work:
o Develop digital signage on various wellness topics to be displayed throughout the Green Bay Packaging divisions and featured at an upcoming company Wellness Fair.
o Assist the RN with training on medical and safety topics within the company.
o Update and replenish First Aid supplies throughout the building as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Must be currently enrolled in a nursing or healthcare-focused program.
Must be able to use normal office equipment (scanner, printer, copier, computer)
Must have the willingness to learn and desire to gain knowledge to develop skills and improve work performance.

Division Description:
The Folding Carton Division is an industry leading manufacturer of folding cartons for food, beverage, tissue, hardware, confectionary, and many other industries. Employing around 300 people, this facility designs, prints, and manufactures folding cartons, trays, and counter displays for a broad range of products and customers.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
